Survey of Bus Demand to Mandurah Railway
Written by Pat Hart
Monday, 07 June 2010 11:13

The council has been asked by the Minister of transport to provide proof of the need for a bus service from Armadale to Cockburn or Murdoch train stations on the Mandurah Line, or John of God or the future Fiona Stanley Hospital and return.

It would help council to achieve this service if you printed out the attached survey, answered the questions and sent to one of the listed addresses,

 Bus_Survey.pdf

or you can go to the City of Armadale's website http://www.armadale.wa.gov.au/Home/Your_Council/Community_Consultation/2010/Bus_Demand_to_Mandurah_Railway

and submit your survey online. This is the quickest way.

#2 Diane 2010-08-17 02:17 The survey has been completed and a trial has been set up. Bus will leave Armadale and travel to Cockburn. Quote

#1 Diane 2010-07-14 23:06 I am voting for the Murdoch link. A bus to that station gets us “oldies” quick direct transport to Murdoch Hospital, the new Fiona Stanley Hospital for the kiddies or to Murdoch University for the younger people. This will save us going into Perth and then coming back.
Also a bus to Murdoch Railway Station will be quicker to get to the beach at Rockingham or onto Mandurah.
