A Sound Birthday
The fourth Sunday in August will be the fourth year that ‘Acoustic On The Village Green’ has been running. To celebrate the organiser Mel, has managed to persuade several top musicians and bands to donate some of their time as an inspiration and encouragement to the many ‘fun player’ that turn up every month. Included in this array of musicians are Kim Bettenay, The Ferrymen, Beatzworkin, The B.B.(acoustic) Blues Band, Acoustic Blue, and most of the regular singer and players. The venue will be at ‘The Elizabethan Village Inne’ above the restaurant, starting at 2 p.m. and there is NO cover charge. Mel went on to say that over the last four years; holiday makers from Holland, Switzerland, and the U.K. had called in on us, bringing their own brand of music. The whole concept is to meet and enjoy a kinship of musical interest. No One has ever been turned away, the youngest person was 3years and at the other end of the scale 3 score and ten proving that music h...

Description
The Elizabethan Village Pub is situated in the hills of Perth, about 40 minutes South East of Perth. The pub added to the original Cobwebs Restaurant which is a part of the Elizabethan Village complex in 1992, along with the Last Drop Brewery.
The original concept for the Village and it’s surrounds can be viewed in the following presentation which has been assembled by Sally-Ann, the daughter of Leo Fowler, who’s vision it was to bring Shakespears’ birthplace to Western Australia.
