This is the big day.

Families, please consider coming. The benefit to your children by joining in with the community helping to keep our beautiful Roleystone intact is so beneficial for all. We need the youth to feel fired up to continue the fight for our trees and wildlife. It starts when they are young. A wonderful group of neighbours come out to help on this day at Stonegate.

We will be planting seedlings into Stonegate Reserve. This bushland has been badly affected by weeds and dieback. We need to remove the weeds and plant local plant species. Previous work has been successful but the need continues.

Directions: Stonegate Reserve on Stonegate Road. The road is only 100 m long - you won't miss us

Suitable for Children: Yes (but children under 5 are not covered by insurance but if they are under their parents care then please come. We love to see the kids joining in.)
Accessible for disabled: No

Notes about the day for Volunteers:

Please wear appropriate clothing (hat, covered shoes, long sleeved shirt and long pants ecommended)

The following will be provided: Tools and equipment for planting, Watering cans / buckets, Drinking water.

Lovely morning tea provided.

We will plant in the rain, only thunderstorms and high winds stop us.!
