Hi everyone.
Google has loads of nifty tools - one of which is Picasa.
The site is here...
http://picasaweb.google.com
First up you need to make a Google account to store your web photos in.
After that you can download the Picasa program on your PC and run it. When this program is run for the first time, it will look for pictures on your PC and catalog them (this can take a while depending on your pc).
Picasa will also assign itself to be the default program to open all your images. (I usually don't let it to do this).
To post a picture to your personal Picasa web account, just right click the photo with your mouse and select "Upload to Web Album".
These Picasa web albums can be made viewable to anyone how has access to the web - and they don't need a Google account to see them.
With Facebook, your friends are encouraged to sign up to see your photos. While this is good for networking - it aint so good when you just want to share photos quickly and easily. With Picasa - anyone can see you photos without that hassle.
