Hi all please find attached the very late meeting notes from our June Meeting.
Between end of financial year, end of work contract, conferences over east and the usual day to day stuff, meeting notes were the last on my list!
We are now only $6851.84 short of reaching our $10k corpus. Once we have reached this milestone we become a legal entity with promotion and media support,legal and admin support from the West Australian Community Foundation . Best of all we start having funds to invest in our community's future!!
One door had been firmly slammed shut in our faces with the exorbitant quotes that I have received for event insurance to run our Lawn mower GP and community fun day. With the support of Rotary , Colin Hatfield and Lyn Place- the day was shaping up to be a fantastic and fun community event , however public liability has stopped this in its tracks.
But the beauty of Roleystone is another door always opens and the wonderful people of theAraluen Progress Association have kindly offered to donate half of their taking from their quiz nite. Events like the quiz nite are very much in the spirit of our endowment fund , building community pride and cohesiveness through events so get your friends and family together and book a table through Fidocks.
