19 Wygonda Road, Roleystone. The Office is open 9.00am to 3.00pm (School terms only). A collection box containing bags for the phones is in the foyer. You separate the battery from the phone and place both in the bag. You then seal it and place in a mail box. The bags are mailed for free. The Cerebal Palsy Association provides this service and receives a bonus so you are doing the environment a service and helping a worthy organisation as well.
Roleystone Newsagency and Post Office
Jarrah Road, Roleystone A collection box containing plastic satchels for the phones is in the newsagency. You separate the battery from the phone and place both in the bag. Follow instructions on the satchel. Posted free anywhere in Australia. Supplied by Mobilemuster.

City of Armadale-Hopkinson Road Site
City of Armadale's waste management site in Hopkinson Road will take small amounts of oil.The oil is still collected but unfortunately The City of Armadale, like everyone else in WA, is having problems getting rid of the oil. The recyclers now have to send their oil to Singapore to refine it.The City of Armadale are currently lobbying the Government to solve this problem.

Note: This has been suspended for the time being because the Primary School has relocated to the High School Site.
Roleystone Primary School
They collect recyclables from the community. The children will collect, store and recycle them. They will be used by students for art, language, science etc. The rest will be given to a recycler such as Planet Ark.

- ice-cream containers
- clean milk cartons
- cardboard rolls
- glass jars
- elastic bands
- bottle tops
- corks
- ring pulls from cans
- small and medium sized boxes
- scoops from washing powder boaxes
- magazines, etc.
Also...
- off-cuts of wood
- small tiles
- small plastic plumbing bits
- lengths of string or rope.
Drop off your items at the School's front office during School times.

Camera Recycling

None in Roleystone at the moment but go to www.camerarecycle.com.au and you will find 3 places in Perth where you can drop your old cameras in. We hope a business in Roleystone will volunteer to be a collection point for this service which is free. Many components in cameras can be recycled.
